The original master recordings of this album have been lost over time, and this version was extracted from an old cassette tape, which has suffered the ravishes of time, clicks, drop-out and tape noise.
The recording was digitally remastered in January 2015, but it is somewhat of an attempt to make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear regarding the sound quality.
But, silk or sow, I hope you enjoy the stories anyway.
All of the stories on this album are traditional Native American ones. I mean no offence by the retelling of them here, and ask permission from the spirits of the stories and the ancestors. May the stories bring teachings and joy to all my relations.
