En Vigo 04:50
I want to go to the Holy ground, Stand there and make my own sound. Go down to the holy ground, Be the person I have found. Be the person I have found. I want to go to the wishing tree, To see there what I can see. Go down to the wishing tree, Be the best that I can be. Be the best that I can be. Didn’t you dream when you were small, Of what lay beyond the garden wall. Didn’t you dream when you were small, That one day you would see it all. That one day you would see it all. In Vigo on the Holy ground, A body fair danced round and round. In Vigo on the holy ground, Dancing by the oceans sound. Dancing by the oceans sound. Too far away and too long ago, For me to ever go there so. Too far away and too long ago, To touch the dream that I know. To touch the dream that I know. Eno Sargrado en Vigo, Beylava corpo velido. Eno Sargrado en Vigo, Eno mar salido. Eno mar salido.

Tell 04:09
No son of mine could do such a thing, No son of mine could be so obscene. No son of mine could dare be this way, No son of mine, do you hear what I say. ‘Cos I raised him proper, and I raised him well, Raised him like a man - can’t you tell. No son of mine could live with these lies, No son of mine could wear such disgrace. No son of mine could break such a trust, No son of mine could walk away and leave it bust. ‘Cos I raised him proper, and I raised him well, Raised him like a man - can’t you tell. No son of mine could hurt me so hard, No son of mine could leave me so scared. No son of mine could spit in my face, No son of mine could be such disgrace. And I don’t care if I’m going on, and on, and on, and on, ‘Cos I raised him proper, and I raised him well, Raised him like a man - can’t you tell. And I gave him all the things he needed in his life, Gave him all the reasons he needed to do right. Gave him all the rules on which to make himself a stand, And I don’t know why things go so out of hand. No son of mine could do such a thing No son of mine could be so.....

Joyride 03:08
I don’t know you and you don’t know me, Well that’s the way sometimes I wish it could be. And when you’d walk down a street, I’d cross over, to make sure we don’t meet. If I was a Christian, I’d fuck it up, So that I’d go to hell, while you went to heaven above. And there are times when I feel, and this is true, I’d do anything I could to get away from you. I may have lived a hundred times by your side, As my lifetimes, take me for a joyride. But when I die I will see you again, For all the pleasure and all the pain. I don’t know you and you don’t know me, Well I pretend sometimes it’s the way it will be. But when we’re walk down some street, We’ll cross over, to make sure we don’t meet.

Wrathful 03:52
Spitting out your anger, Like you hold an iron spike. To the corners of creation, Aimed with all your might. You have an eye like thunder, And you hold a fist like ice. Flaying all illusions, At the turning of the dice. You are a wrathful man. Well there’s nothing of me in you, But all of you in me. With sentiment, attachment, Is struggling to be free. From being in a person, Who is wise and full of life. When yesterday is over, And tomorrow’s held on ice. Rooted in the earth, It’s the spike that holds you down. Without remorse or pity, Buried deeply in the ground. There is no trust in me, And in you there is no doubt. What ever will be in there , Is what we keep we without. If we knew what was out there, Would we ever take the chance. Would we ever make the steps that lead, To the other worldly dance. Would we pay the pipers tune, Would we play the pipers aire. Not ever really knowing what was, going to be out there. You are a wrathful man. Spitting out your anger, Like you hold an iron knife. No reverent illusions, While your living for your life. You have an eye like thunder, You hold a fist like fire. Giving all, revealing, The things that you desire.

Green Hill 04:17
There is a green hill, not too far from here I walked there once when the weather was clear I walked there once, high on it slopes I walked there once with all of my dreams and my hopes On this green hill, long, long, long, time ago, There once lived people, this I know. There once lived people, high on it’s slopes, There once lived people with all their dreams and their hopes. On this green hill, now the people are no more They have gone, oh, just their traces are all that I saw They have gone, they have all moved away from the slopes, They have gone, but what of their dreams and their hopes.

Shall I take you a while to the sea? Shall I take you beneath the tall trees? Shall I you to the heavens, but let you return, to the Earth if you please. Shall I light you a tiny light, No more than a star? That, in the morning will shine on you, With a light so clear but so far. You must return to the sea, Pilot your ship far away. But with your star in the heavens, I will hope you’ll return. Once again for your judment day. Shall I wrap you in cloths of gold? Shall I powder you all in ash? Shall I chain you so tightly, that should you breath out, Then the chains around you would smash? You can hold long to your breath, As the wild geese fly away. And I know you wont struggle and you won’t feel a pain, And the chains a round you will stay. You must return to the sky, Glide on wings of ice. But you, like your fathers, must stay away from the Sun, Near to the ground must suffice. Let me pull you deep down in my world, With soft robes to cover your head? With soft robes to cover and keep you so warm, While you sleep in your bed. I’ll put flowers into your hair, Jasmine and orchids white. Oh and garlands of maple, as red as the flames, To give you always some light. You must return to the Fire, Sleep in its gentle heat. And in it’s ever wandering touch, All of your wounds it will treat. Will you not fly with the snow? Will you not melt in the spring? Will you not return when you go away, Like the green that the new year will bring? I wish I could dance once more with you, As I wish upon your star. That one day we will meet within a strangers eyes. In a place so near but so far. You must return to the soil, Gently caress it’s old faith. Like a leaf, you are falling, please may I catch you, And please may I keep you safe.

I’m going down the red earth road, I’m going to see what I can find. I am walking into my history, I’m walking in like, I don’t mind. And if I see all I believe, And if I understand what I’ve seen. And if I believe all that I know, I’ll be walking down the red earth road. There’s a past frozen here, In the heat, beneath the sky. By the stones, deep and wide. With the bones of ages lying by. I stood here when the river ran, And I strained to hear it’s voice once more. Doing all I had been told, Standing on the red earth road. This is such an ancient land, Who’s bare bones haunt me still. The wind always whispers things to me, Tales of river, rock and hill. Take a stone and hold it tight, Don’t fret, don’t fear tonight. Don’t dream and let your spirit roam, Just stand there on the red earth road.

Shield 02:00
Standing tough in the middle of a road, With a red shield brightly painted. I didn’t know what my future held, With what journey I was fated. I didn’t seem to be the best around, But I did the best with what I had. With a red shield that was my own, Made with no help from my own dad. Father, father where were you, When your son needed? Why were you not standing there, With a red shield brightly painted? Standing tough in the middle of a road, With a red shield brightly painted. I didn’t know what my future held, With what journey I was fated.

Béziers 04:06
In a little town, in a little life, Lived a baker, his family and his wife. He worked for the people, baked them bread, From dawn to dusk, from rise to bed. For all of his years he had been in this town, Learnt his trade, it came handed down. From his father before him, and now to his son, The lines of the trade are deep as they run. This was the way of the man and his friends, They lived a life with no need for amends. They just did what they did in thier own quiet way, With a truth and a hope for a better day. Such was the flour of this well kept land, Known for its dignity and it’s open hand. Known for its music and its eloquent rhymes, And the peace of the Good men of many life times. Then to the town rode noble brave knights, To seek absolution and to uphold the rights. Of the church to sort out all the goats from the sheep, To make pure bread with no chaff in the wheat. But how can you know what’s in someone’s heart or head? So the knights asked their Bishop, who’s reply it is said, To those who had asked him whom to make to atone was, “kill them all - God will know his own”.

Breath 05:29
Sweet breath rising in the freezing air, Curling up and out of sight. Brings a gift that means so much to me, In the seasons of my life. ‘Cos hard times season all good timbers, Their grains grow stronger for the frost. When the summer sun is so far away, And the warmer days seem lost. When the summer days seem far away, And the nights are long and dark. And the grey days are filled with threat of rain, And the sunshine is merely a spark. I carry on regardless, Like the water in a stream. Flowing on, flowing on unhinded, To the ocean, still unseen. Giving a little is a little gift, Missing something means that something’s missed. Opening a door means a door swings wide, Passing through’s to the other side. Sweet breath rising in the freezing air, Is a beautiful thing to view. And it’s presence is a beacon, That brings me back to you.

Glory 04:02
The glory days have passed away, Lets not forget how great the day. Was going to be, and without a cost, For the glory days are passed and lost. And what I believe doesn’t have a call, You see I lost the glory after all. To the day that slowly turns to night, Like the shadows that engulf a life. And the each moment’s end’s in view, While others wait, that are quite new. Within the stage wings of eternity, To illuminate our life’s journey. Or at least highlight our mediocrity. Oh the bitter days have passed away, So lets not mourn how dire the day, Was in each moment, every hour, Till time decayed that wretched flower. As we pass away, our futures here. The dreams we had were bought so dear, That we can hardly bear the cost, Of all the dreams we see we’ve lost.

Serendipity 05:40
I danced upon the shining shore, As you sailed away from me, Before I had the chance to quietly say, I hope our courses meet one day. The fabric of life will make you strong, The things done right and the things done wrong. To a distant land we all embark, A journey through our light and dark. We are immigrants to a life unlived, As we received, so is our gift. My voyage still travels through, The seas that take me far from you. I was there when you were newly made, When all the hopes and dreams were laid, When the sun shone so clear and bright. And the world sparkled all with light. So now your tasks is to set the sail, Through which you can not ever fail, To chart the course that’s bound to be, Your life of serendipity, your life of serendipity. I dreamed upon the shining shore, You had left behind like those before, Who turned there eyes to the distant view, That now is reaching out to you. We made no real plans for you, Just hoped the sea would see you through. (K)new horizons would one day call, To you, as do they call to all. We populate the lives we have yet to live, By dreams, and all of those islands, With which we make our own safe stepping stones, Across the bitches and the foam, Across the bitches and the foam.

Dream 01:47
I want to thank the powers, For being here with me. For giving me my life, And all that I can be. One night I dreamt a dream, The water ran so deep. But I was safe and could not drown, As I lay in my sleep. So give back my child’s heart, Give back my child’s soul, Give back my child’s pride, Let him now be whole. We’re all on our way somewhere, We’re on our way somewhere, We’re on our way somewhere, Even you and I.
