As things all breakdown,

To be merely display.
All kings and all princes
They soon must make way
All things are passing

I swim between skies.

Why do I feel sad,
Why shed my tears?
Why pander to worry,
Or dread, or to fears?
As things all breakdown,

Rich castles and cities,
They soon must make way.
Both formless and form,
They each have their play.

I blaze beneath skies
